The evolution of surveillance power

There was a time when surveillance vans required large banks of heavy deep-cycle batteries to power cameras, computers, and various accessories. Today, battery technology has evolved to the point that one lightweight, easily transportable device can do it all and do it better. Modern lithium portable power stations provide sufficient power for most surveillance operations and can be easily recharged from a 12-volt socket while driving, solar panels, or an AC wall socket.

For investigators and surveillance professionals, the practical implications are significant. Reduced weight means greater mobility and less conspicuous setups. Multiple charging options mean extended operational endurance without returning to base. Pure-sine wave AC output means sensitive electronic equipment operates reliably.
